So What is Ignite Burlington Anyway?

Ignite Burlington Banner

Ignite Burlington is an evening event of presentations designed to inspire, educate, and entertain the greater Burlington community.  In one evening, attendees will hear dynamic speakers from our community talk about their passion projects and inspirational success stories.  These speakers will inspire you to take action and be the change you wish to see in the world!

Ignite events have been in over 100 cities worldwide and are similar to TED’s “Ideas Worth Spreading.”  Presenters share inspiring and educational stories – be it their business experiences or personal interests and ideas – for a compelling five to eight minutes, respecting Ignite’s acclaimed mantra “Enlighten Us, But Make It Quick!”  Ignite events bring together community members and ideas in an inspiring, mastermind-like forum, and it is a truly unique networking platform for all who are involved.

This year, we have some incredible speakers lined up to share their stories, including:

Ann Zuccardy | What I Learned from a Bathtub

Tom Murphy | We All Have the Power to be Someone’s Hero!

Ela Wojtowicz | Cultivating Perseverance: Why CP Doesn’t Stand for Cerebral Palsy, Anymore

David Hill | Overcoming Life’s Obstacles –  “In the Middle of Difficulty Lies Opportunity.” – Albert Einstein
